A lot of the shelters we work with are in dire need of
cleaning supplies and Houses of H.O.P.E. is collecting donations of
supplies for distribution. Please remember that donating needed items is a
very important part of our effort!
Do you (or does someone you know) have experience
renovating damaged ceilings? One of the shelters we work with needs some
help, and Houses of H.O.P.E. is looking for someone willing to make a
donation or a reduced rate.
Senior’s Valentine’s
Day!
We don’t like when people get left out, so we’re going
to provide non-slip footies (socks), stationary, pens, and stamps for
Valentine’s Day so seniors can enjoy writing their loved ones (and be written
in return). If you would like to donate or help call Wanda @ 879-4100.

ADOPT AN APARTMENT!
You can help by donating furnishings for an Avalon apartment. Matching bedding
for 3 twin beds, 1 double bed, coordinating panel curtains (windows
approximately 42.5" x 68"), etc. Please remember that neutral
colors allow families to easily accessorize the room to their own tastes.
If you would like to help decorate an apartment please contact us. All help is greatly appreciated!
We currently work with many local organizations in an
effort to assist them in helping our community. We work with Avalon, a shelter for battered women
and children, providing planning and support for birthdays and christmas,
along with general supplies. We also work with the Salavation Army and Meals on Wheels.
Through Compassion
International, we are able to assist children in developing nations. At
this point in time we are supporting a total of 10 children. These are some

Individually we work one on one with people to assist
them with whatever needs they may have, in an effort to enrich their lives,
help them be self sufficient, and remind them that people care.
